The Vancouver Police Department’s freedom of information department was asked two months ago to release the name of the victim of the brutal assault at Super Valu as perpetrated by that store owner. The victim was witnessed to be repeatedly kicked and thrashed about and he subsequently died two days later.
Other bureaucrats and officials involved in the handling of the man’s case, his body and its ultimate disposition have all pretty much followed the new police motto: No more Serve and Protect… more like Stall, Duck and Stonewall.
